What's so real about these wines?

At Vino Al Vino, we rack our brains and palates striving to find you the best ORGANIC and/or BIODYNAMIC and/or NATURAL wines to send you every month. We know these terms can get muddy!


We prefer just calling it REAL WINE: wines made with minimal intervention. Our producers personify the age-old adage: great wine is made in the vineyard, not the cellar. Every wine you order is made from grapes grown with the utmost respect for the environment. 



We only represent producers that practice biodynamic or organic farming. These vignerons permit  an ecosystem of diverse flora and fauna to thrive among their vines. The resulting polyculture ,  quite unlike the monocultures of conventional vineyards, provides their vines with a banquet of diverse nutrients to draw up into the grapes. This is the correct evolutionary atmosphere for the grapevine. The richer the soil, the healthier the grapes, the better the wine. You can taste the harmony.

  • How do I join the Wine Club?

    You can subscribe to the Wine Club through the Membership Portal! 

  • Can I add wines to my order?

    You bet!

  • Can I pick up my wine in store?

    Absolutely. Intentionally we have designed flexibility and convenience. You can pick up the wine from a participating retailer. Those will be confirmed on a monthly basis. 


    Or, if you prefer, the retailer can ship it to you.

  • What wines will be in my order/shipment

    The wines are determined prior to each mail out. These will be listed in the pre-shipment newsletter as well as on the Members Only Wine Club page. This can include limited allocation wines, as well as more widely available selections.


    We carefully select our packages to reflect seasonality, availability and special offerings of wines we are most excited about. All of the wines that we represent come from boutique, independent wineries. Our producers meticulously craft the product by hand and with a lot of passion and dedication. As such, the wines are produced in limited quantity and once they are sold, they are not available until the following year’s vintage.

  • Can I choose the wines for my order/shipment?

    The monthly selection are chosen by our Wine Director. We uphold our promise to provide you the best and most exclusive wines we have to offer. You can also always add a wine or two  of your favorite, subject to availability!

  • Do I have to commit to a monthly membership?

    No! You do not have to commit to a monthly wine buy. You can opt-in or opt-out, as you see fit.


    We will be introducing monthly packages with the overall goal to introduce you to the world of real wine and provide enjoyment. Some of our offerings would be a combination of wine types and wine varietals. Some would focus on one specific producer. And others would focus on a particular region.


    Our goal is to provide you with unlimited flexibility. Wine is a personal preference and taste is uniquely individual as it is shaped by both genetics and the environment. We want to give you more of what uniquely you likes.


    Availability to some of the wine club offerings is limited. It may include a special release from the winery or the demand is so great that we have allocated the availability fairly between our trade and consumer accounts. Thus, we would give preference to our monthly subscribers but do our hardest to accommodate all requests.

  • What additional wines are available to me?

    As a Wine Club member you have access to limited availability wines outside of the monthly offering. These are offered as they arrive and can be purchased through a retailer of your choice. Email customerservice@vinoalvino.ca for a current list of everything available.

  • How do I pay for my wine?

    Payment are processed via Stripe through a licensed retailer. We cannot accept payments for product and we have no access to your payment information.

  • How do you protect my personal information?

    We only collect basic personal information like name, e-mail, phone and address. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

  • You love the wine club! How can you help us spread the word?

    Our goal is to lead the Real Wine Revolution and build a community of wine lovers that appreciate real wine rather than the conventional, mass produced “plonk” that you find on most shelves.


    We would love your support in helping us spread the word and in the process supporting wine families and artisans.


    Refer a friend, or two or ten and earn 1000 REM tokens ($10) for every successful referral to the Wine Club that you make. Both you and your referral will be awarded the referral bonus of 1000 Rem tokens. Send us an email to customerservice@vinoalvino.ca with your email address and the email address of the person that you are referring.


    (Note: this referral bonus applies to new customers only and is issued upon making the first purchase of a Wine Club release).

  • Can I order more than one wine club release?

    Absolutely: anytime, subject to availability. If a Wine Club release is sold out on LiquorConnect.com, send us an email at customerservice@vinoalvino.ca and we will be happy to direct you to a retailer that has this release available.

  • When will my credit card be charged?

    Credit cards will be processed at the time of order by the retailer of your choice. Monthly subscriber payments will be processed on the first Monday of every month.

  • Can the courier leave my wine at the front door?

    Definitely not! The courier cannot leave the wine at your front door, on the porch, behind a planter and so forth. At no time can your wine be left unattended. Someone, at least 18 or 19 years of age (depending on the province) has to sign for the receipt of the shipment.
