Pago Casa Gran

Valencia DO Falcata Crux

Pago Casa Gran's tête de cuvée is crafted entirely from old-vine Monastrell, the Falcata Crux is a vibrant, soul-stirring expression of Valencia’s high-altitude terroir. Unlike the jammy profiles often associated with the variety, this wine is remarkably fresh, structured, and lifted. The nose full of wild bramble fruit, sun-baked earth, and Mediterranean scrub / garrigue. The palate has a crunchy vibe backed by fine, Mourvedre’s dense and dusty tannins, all anchored by a terrific mountain-born acidity. It is an honest, unmanipulated wine that captures the warmth of the Spanish sun without losing its sense of place or drinkability. A distilled representation of true Monastrell from its own land on its own terms.
