Fattoria La Rivolta
2024 Taburno Falanghina del Sannio DOC
"The nose swirls with aromas of pineapple, lemon, lime, toasted almond and honey dew. The palate is consistent, with salted almonds and a mix of sweet and sour citrus over touches of sweet melon and tropical fruit, but a firmly bitter backbone provides good balance." — Danielle Callegari, Wine Enthusiast
Region: Benevento, Campania
Appellation: Taburno Falanghina del Sannio DOC
Varietal/Blend: 100% Falanghina
ABV: 13%
Vineyard: 100% Falanghina, hand-harvested at the end of September from low-yielding vines (70q/ha).
Cellar: After a quick cryomaceration (a brief cold soak that draws out aroma while keeping the fruit bright) it ferments slowly over 15 days, settling into a clean, straw-yellow wine with that quiet Campanian lift. About 60,000 bottles made.
CSPC: 132476
