Cordero San Giorgio

2024 Piasa Croatina Rosato, Provincia di Pavia IGT

Made entirely from Croatina, a grape most people outside northern Italy have probably never heard of, and honestly, that feels a bit unfair once you taste this. Piasa bursts from the glass with raspberry, wild strawberry, rose petals, and that wonderfully sunny northern Italian rosato energy that immediately makes you want thin slices of prosciutto, chunks of Taleggio, or a board piled high with mortadella and salty olives. There’s real texture and savoury snap underneath the fruit too, keeping everything vibrant and mouth-watering. Basically checks every box you want a serious Italian rosato to check.
