A couple of the Marsanne barrels were allowed to go through MLF, adding another layer of character to the final blend. The wines developed with low sulphur to allow some oxidative nuance and texture. The final blend gives us this bright buffet at the tropical fruit stand: banana, honeydew, lychee, and jasmine, all with some mandarin tang and cashew depth. Juicy and moreish with slate, lanolin, and earthy lemongrass on the finish.
