Le Fraghe

2025 Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC Rodon

Named after the ancient Greek word for 'rose,' a name deeply cherished in Matilde’s family, this is the kind of rosato that reminds you how compelling the category can be when it comes from the right soils. The nose opens with wild rose petals before moving into forest strawberry and red currant, all carried by this lovely salty mineral thread that keeps the wine feeling alive. Put this beside oysters, crudo, or fried seafood with lemon and watch how quickly the bottle disappears.
