Dacapo

2020 Nizza Riserva DOCG Vigna Dacapo Cru MAGNUM

The Nizza Riserva DOCG Vigna Dacapo Cru comes from their finest vineyard and spends nearly twice as long aging before release. Same grape. Same village. But a deeper, more complex, and more age-worthy expression of what Barbera can achieve in Agliano Terme.

"Enticing aromas of vanilla, clove, and cinnamon intertwine with ripe plum and dark cherry, beckoning the taster to relax with this bottle. The palate reveals a well-crafted wine with a firm structure, showcasing concentrated flavours of black fruit and baking spices, while the polished tannins suggest that patience will be rewarded as the wine evolves and softens with time in the cellar. Drink now till 2035." -89pts, Jeff Porter, Wine Enthusiast
