Dacapo
2022 TRE (Merlot 40% - Barbera 30% - Nebbiolo 30%)
Region: Langhe & Monferrato, Piemonte
Appellation: Vino Rosso
Varietal/Blend: 40% Merlot, 30% Barbera, 30% Nebbiolo
ABV: 15%
Vineyard: Barbera and Merlot are grown in Agliano Terme, where gently sloping hills and white, clay-rich soils contribute freshness, while Nebbiolo comes from Castagnole Monferrato, with calcareous-clay soils that add structure. All grapes are hand-harvested in small boxes between late September and October, each variety picked at optimal maturity.
Cellar: The three varieties are vinified separately, with fermentation and skin maceration lasting around 15 days at 27–28 °C. Each wine is aged for 12 months in French Allier barriques before blending, then rested in bottle for six months prior to release.
