Vineyard: The vineyard is located in Agliano Terme on east- and south–east–facing slopes at 220 metres above sea level. Vines are Guyot-trained and planted in calcareous, clay-rich soils with a touch of sand. Yields are managed through cluster thinning, with hand-harvesting in small boxes in October.
Cellar: The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, then fermented with a 15–20 day maceration at controlled temperatures. Ageing follows in a 55-hectolitre French Allier oak cask for 11 months, with an additional three months of bottle ageing before release.
