2025 Moscato d’Asti DOCG Cà ed Balos

The aromas come flying out of the glass immediately: peach, orange blossom, elderflower, fresh grapes, and a touch of honey, the whole thing feeling like someone opened the windows on the first warm spring day in Piemonte. For all its perfume and gentle sweetness, it never feels heavy or cloying. Too often, Moscato gets treated as an afterthought. This bottle is a reminder of why generations of growers in the Langhe fell in love with the grape in the first place. Fragrant and joyful, and it's equally at home beside fruit tarts and soft cheeses as it is on its own at the end of a long day. Serve around 8°C and don't overthink it.
