Vineyard:  On loamy soils in Santa Giuletta, forty-year-old Barbera vines are cultivated using guyot training. Grapes are manually harvested around mid-September, collected in baskets after a careful selection to preserve only the healthiest fruit for vinification.

Cellar: After cold maceration, fermentation in steel tanks lasts two weeks with frequent pump-overs and racking. Post-fermentation maceration leads to malolactic conversion in barriques. The wine is aged ten months in barriques, ten in large oak, and six in bottle.
