Cordero Mario

2025 Verduno Pelaverga DOC Pelaverga

Pelaverga is Piemonte’s pale, peppery little heartbreaker, the kind of red that looks delicate and then comes in with a bright pop of white pepper. Violets, red cherries, and unmistakable spice make it immediately charming, but there is more here than just pretty aromatics. The palate is bright, savoury, and finely balanced, with silky tannins and a clean mineral bite. Serve slightly chilled at 14 to 16°C.
