2024 Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC Derthona

Timorasso is never just “a nice white from Piemonte,” and this one makes that point pretty quickly. Ripe peach, apricot, and acacia blossom come first, followed by a little honey, a subtle balsamic note, and that lovely flinty minerality Timorasso seems to pull straight from the hills. It is finely balanced on the palate, with lively acidity giving shape to a full, rounded texture. Long, elegant, and gently spicy on the finish, with enough structure and quiet confidence to suggest this bottle has a very good future ahead of it.
