Bertinga

2020 Toscana IGT Sassi Chiusi

Sassi Chiusi 2020 is your first step into the Bertinga world, offering a glimpse of the estate’s more exclusive wines. Bright cherry, blood orange, and pomegranate burst from the glass alongside violet, aromatic herbs, and a hint of licorice. This is a true second wine, approachable, vibrant, and playful in its youth yet built with enough structure to age gracefully. Sangiovese and Merlot from all three vineyards combine to create a harmonious, terroir-driven expression that balances both, freshness and depth. It pairs effortlessly with Tuscan classics like pappardelle with wild boar, roasted meats, or a sharp pecorino while also holding up to international flavours, proving that good wine can be smart, serious, and fun all at once.
