Ampeleia di Ampeleia

Ampeleia

I have always been enamoured with all of Elisabetta's wines from the Foradori estate. I am equally thrilled with this pinnacle wine from her Maremma estate. Savoury, herbal and rich on the nose. A marvellous depiction of both the varietal, and the dusty, bush herb laden hills it hails from. Blackberry, and balsamic aromas lead into a palate of dried flowers, cloves and fresh berry pucker. The ultimate translation of the Roccatederighi. A precise and perfect treasure.
