2024 Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba DOCG Sori’ Montagrillo

From the sun-kissed slopes of Sorì Montagrillo comes a Dolcetto that proudly shows its Diano d’Alba roots. Planted in 1990 on a historically important parcel with prized south-easterly exposure, the vines soak up morning light, producing expressive fruit that defines this bottling. The sandy streaks in the mixed soils add energy, giving it a lively, drink-now appeal.
A deep ruby hue introduces a fragrant nose of blackberry, black cherry, and ripe plum, accented by violet and a hint of almond. The palate is smooth, fresh, and engaging, carrying a wave of dark fruit framed by gentle tannins and a subtle, classic Dolcetto bitterness on the finish.
