Château Peybonhomme-les-Tours

2023 L'Amour du Risque Cabernet Franc Pét-Nat

This all natural pét-nat from with zero added sulphites is a beautifully made and thrillingly interesting expression of right bank Cabernet Franc. Notes of cherry yogurt and mountain dew pervade the nose with a wildly floral palate of lavender, orange and plum blossoms, and that difficult-to-describe thrillz gum thing. A touch of RS, a surprisingly juicy body (13.5%), and a gentle effervescence make this wine a glou glou sensation that reminds me of everything I first loved about natural wines.
