2023 Sancerre AOC La Merisière Pinot Noir Rouge

La Merisière Rouge is all charm and subtle energy. The nose pops with crushed strawberries while the palate shows juicy red berries with a hint of pepper and a silky, lingering finish. Made from Pinot Noir on clay-limestone soils, this is a Loire Valley rarity as reds make up barely 10 percent of Sancerre’s production, so every bottle feels like a little discovery. Serious enough to impress, easy enough to enjoy all evening.
