Château La Bastidette

2023 Château La Bastidette, Montagne-Saint-Émilion AOC

Just 750 metres north of Château Cheval Blanc, these Merlot parcels sit in Montagne-Saint-Émilion and deliver exactly the kind of Right Bank generosity you hope for. Blackcurrant, dark cherry, and violet come first, followed by a palate that is concentrated and rounded. Freshness runs straight through the ripe fruit, keeping all that richness lifted and beautifully in check.
